Dr. Joy Harden Bradford — licensed psychologist, founder of Therapy for Black Girls, and bestselling author — wrote Sisterhood Heals: The Transformative Power of Healing in Community as a love letter to Black women and the bonds that sustain them. Kareracter® partnered with Dr. Joy to develop the brand identity and book tour design, shaping a visual world as vibrant, communal, and intentional as the sisterhood the book celebrates.

We designed the tour experience to feel less like a promotion and more like a gathering — an extension of the intimacy, warmth, and radical honesty that define Dr. Joy's work. From the identity system to the event collateral, every element was crafted to honor the spirit of the book: that healing is not solitary, and that the spaces where Black women come together deserve to look and feel as powerful as what happens inside them.
