This project marked a powerful first: our studio’s debut into large-scale mural work. We were honored to partner with the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Foundation and Wintrust on a mural that not only spotlighted the next generation of leaders but also told a deeply personal story.

As a proud DMSF alum, our founder, Karen Spears, saw this as more than just a design opportunity—it was a full-circle moment. Competing against 13 seasoned muralists, Kareracter® brought a fresh and authentic perspective rooted in lived experience and a deep connection to the foundation’s mission.

The result? A mural inspired by the quote "Uplifting Tomorrow’s Leaders", designed to celebrate the power of education, the strength of community, and the bright futures of DMSF scholars. This wasn’t just about paint on a wall—it was about legacy, impact, and leading with purpose.
